Here he's quoting Francis Ford Coppola - 'One day some little fat girl in Ohio is going to be the new Mozart and make a beautiful film with her father's camcorder and the so-called professionalism about movies will be destroyed forever.'
Botkin continues himself "...and this why an independent film industry is imminently DOABLE." "Hollywood's dying and will not be around very much longer. Who will pioneer the new cultural colonization?" According to Nicolas Negroponte of MIT, 'People with internet connections will become mini television studios and film distributors without middle men.' These are some of the trends that will benefit what we're doing."
