OK. Here's the deal. Would someone PLEASE comment on my site and explain this to me?

I'm still trying to figure this whole thing out. Here is a complicated, but accurate ( I think! help me understand! comment!! ) arguement explaining the details of our battle (in arguement form with someone who doesn't have as much of a clue... and siding iwth Tim Berner Lee, the guy who invented the internet - who also is concerned about our fight to keep the internet free http://blogs.zdnet.com/Ratcliffe/index.php?p=157

"U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii, the leading Democrat on the Senate Commerce Committee, had blasted Republican compromise language on network neutrality.

The new language, released over the weekend by the Republican majority on the panel, would have instituted a Consumer Internet Bill of Rights to be enforced by the Federal Communications Commission.

The new proposal was part of a massive telecom reform bill by Commerce Committee Chairman Ted Stevens of Alaska. The bill is currently scheduled for a Thursday committee vote."

I'm a your basic compassionate, green conservative who isn't tittilated by democratic hype but who's also really upset by rich replublicans who's sole reason for becoming involved in politics is to get richer by making corporate friends and doing their bidding... nevermind the majority of taxpaying voters! And it appears to me that conservative groups - like the aformentioned Christian Coalition and the Internet Freedom Coalition - are fighting to keep the internet free!

Am I wrong?

The Christian Coalition's Roberta Combs URGES US STRONGLY TO CONTACT the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee regarding the Net Neutrality Vote ... [as noted above this vote has proceeded forward and was tied 11 - 11 over the "SNOWE-DORGAN" amendments. But you can STILL Call the numbers and write the emails below QUICK!!! and ask them, "WHAT JUST HAPPENED HERE? AM I LOSING MY INTERNET FREEDOM THE SAME WAY WE LOST RADIO AND TELEVISION FREEDOMS TO BIG BUSINESS?"

So we (my wife and I, who was in agreement, but who is presently rather shy, but who will be blowin' your MIND when she actually starts video podcasting her ideas!) had this to say about this - this. Now we're saying this - men and women are meant to be together. In fact, we care enough about the phenomenon that we've signed the petition at grassfire.org to say I support "clarification" in our Constitution towards that truth. Simply put - without a mandate for procreation, the human race will cease to exist.

So! Around the world, feminists have been staying home. Why? Because CHILDREN ARE AWESOME! That's why! And, although the feminist movement has, for the most part, encouraged women to eschew the idea of having children... much less staying home to care for them... there are some who just can't get enough of the little tykes!
