The Short! AtomSound presents HOPFAN1 (first edit)

This is HOPFAN1 - House of Prayer for all nations 1. It's hopefully the beginning of a series of webfilms (YouTube length... sorta) which explore the whole idea that Jesus (Yeshua) loved His Father's house so zealously that, at one point, He took up a whip to make the point! See Matthew 21:12, Mark 11:15 and John 2:15 for proof!

They came to Yerushalayim, and Yeshua entered into the temple, and began to throw out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of those who sold the doves.

I wanted to show you this edit for 2 reasons... to get the thing out the door before the end of 2007! And also to let you see how much can be done in post! Hopefully (if other projects don't swamp this little guy), I'll show how so much can be done (especially with text effects via Apple's Motion) to add to the final effect.

My best friend is a finalist! Tom Cellie recently entered the Speak New Words song/video contest with Speak Life - a brilliant song that actually teaches us how to shift our thinking regarding the power of our words. He had written another inspiring song just after the tragedy at Virgina Tech earlier this year which caught the attention of one of the people at the Speak New Words organization. She recommended he enter with the same song, but 15 minutes after reading the email he finished the words and music to his song. Give it a listen then go vote at SpeakNewWords.com... K?

Update - Sorting in September!

Ah September, 2007... what a year!

Basically I think September is gonna be a month of sorting things out in my schedule (which has been absolutely packed with madness for the King of the Universe) and getting the online message better optimized.

I hope everyone's doin' well. My blessings and shalom go to everyone (especially to the armagetronad crowd!) out there tuning in. I hope life is embracing you with grace. The King of grace is good... He knows our deepest darkness well... (Psalm 139:7-18) If only we knew the depths of goodness coming to our planet so soon...

That's why I've been throwing my shoulder into the GodTV / IHOP / prayerroom thing. Check it out around midnight in your area (worldwide) on God.TV - they air our work from the middle of the USA over their satellite network - http:remember we crank out LIVE 24-hours-a-day content... kinda unprecedented!

Technical: This is record time for a video blog! I captured to the "h.264" setting in Quicktime, instead of "quick capture" on YouTube, so I could have the original on my hard drive. My usual way is to use the best, baddest camera I can find (Canon S2IS, HV10, Panasonic HVX200) and then use titles in Final Cut or (recently) Motion to spice things up a bit. But I'm so busy these days, I'm thinkin about goin to the quickest and easiest so I can just get it done and say "hey" to y'all!

Never before and, perhaps, never again will one individual (like YOU) be able to reach around the planet from their own home - sharing video that tells the GREATEST TRUTH - Yeshua, the same meek God-Man who laid His life down for the forgiveness of our sins, is returning to save this planet from self-annihilation! (Matthew 24:21-22)

And then He will set up shop and TEACH US (Isaiah 2:3, Micah 4:2) from Jerusalem how to live right. One of the things He'll oversee, for grand instance, is the "burning of the weapons..."

9 Those who dwell in the cities of Yisra'el shall go forth, and shall make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs, and the spears, and they shall make fires of them seven years;

Scary? Yah.. But only because it predicts the scenario (looking SO real today to ANYONE wise enough to open their eyes and count nukes) we all wish to avoid thinking about.

Back to the map - I really only started this clustrmaps around November of 2006. I opened the account June 12th, 2006, but never did anything with the code. Since I've been so busy iwth the God.tv apprenticeship, I haven't made any more ASTVVP videos and y'all are gettin' tired of checkin' on me! Sorry! I'm busy! I'll be back, tho!

Virginia Tech Remembrance - Tom Cellie

Virginia Tech.

Prayin for the souls of the families who lost their young, brilliant minded ones, especially for the thousands who sorely miss perhaps the world's leading Professor of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, Lviu Librescu... the 77 year old professor at Virginia Tech who heroically directed - and protected - the students of his class.

There were other heros that day, too... the ones who barred the door... the first man shot who was attempting to defend his friend. May those families be blessed, most of all, with peace.



My friend, Tom Cellie, wrote this beautiful remembrance song."Wherever I Journey" by Tom Cellie (see the YouTube version for comments)

Please realize this - when the attacker wrote on his arm - as well as on the package sent to NBC - "Ismael Ax," he was deeply identifying with a spirit which also resides in radical Islamofascists (the extremely violent sect of Islam). His videos looked like they were produced by terrorists from Gaza. For all intents and purposes, his attack was EXACTLY like a suicide bomber hitting some Tel Aviv cafe (God, forbid). May we, as Americans, please identify more deeply with Israel's plight through this?

The One Family website depicts the MANY attacks good, freedom-loving Israelis have suffered over the last few years. Please look. Your heart is big enough for both worlds.

The following verse is perfect for this situation -

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;

do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;

do not fret — it leads only to evil.

For evil men will be cut off,

but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

The podcast this week is sponsored by the Keyword: SON. Back in the day, a toothless YOUNG homeless kid was hangin out with me (I was so clueless. He was probably an angel!). He didn't talk much but loved to show off his beautiful grilless grill with huge, gregarious smiles. But once he asked me, "Do you want to know what it's all about." I tried to clarify, "You mean life? Everything?" He only nodded excitedly and smiled hugely. I said, "Yah. Tell me." He dramatically drew on the dirty hood of my Toyota truck, S - O - N.

Then turned to me with that toothless grin and triumphantly but softly proclaimed. "That's it." Every other communication that evening was only smiles and nods. Then he disappeared out of my life.

Hence the name of this podcast. We either are, by faith, or ALL have the potential to be SONS and DAUGHTERS of the Most High Maker of everything. That's what this video is about.

OK. THE LIST. Here's the deal. I don't believe it's because of my Ford Escort that our planet is warming up. Yes, the planet's warming up. And yes I want to be more conservative (actually, quite radically so), but let's not get so political about cutting back on oil BECAUSE we want the climate to change... it probably won't be affected for another few hundred (or thousand) years.
